Anita & Jeremy July 25, 2009 Gorrono Ranch Telluride, CO
The summer wet weather reared its ugly head again. Fortunately Anita & Jeremy had an awesome laid back personality that didn't get soggy from the major downpour that kicked off their wedding day. Instead they, along with their full wedding party, marched down Colorado Ave with their umbrellas.
The ceremony and reception was up at Gorrono Ranch. The skies cleared up and it was another gorgeous Telluride summer evening. Anita & Jeremy were a blast to hang out with and we were excited to create some great photography of their celebration.
Chauntay & Chris June 13, 2009 Telluride, CO Ceremony: Wine Celler at the Cosmopolitan
We're catching up on getting some fresh posts up. It's been a busy summer so far!
This was a small, quaint wedding with a really fun couple. Chauntay & Chris are from Oklahoma but are in the process of moving to San Francisco to begin their new life. They have been to tons of weddings and decided that they didn't want to deal with coordinating a big wedding. They came to Telluride with just their immediate family and had an intimate ceremony. They then held a big reception back in Oklahoma for all of the rest of their family and friends. We made a slideshow for them to present during the reception with all of their wedding photos.
As with all Telluride weddings, there is a possibility of inclement weather. Most of the time, the storm come and go and those who are patient are rewarded with a gorgeous sunset or rainbows. Unfortunately, the weather didn't quite give us a break on this day and the rain continued to fall. Chauntay made the decision to have the ceremony inside at the Wine Celler of the Cosmopolitan. When the ceremony finished, we walked outside to bright sunshine and blue skies. Chauntay & Chris wanted to take advantage of the sun so we took the gondola up to the Top of Chair 7 and shot some portraits.
Chauntay & Chris had a wonderful, energetic attitude that didn't get dampened by the wet weather. They were just really excited to be able to get married in Telluride, no matter what the weather dealt them.
One of the most amazing things about your wedding day, is that it is one of the only times in your life when everyone you love and everyone who loves you will be in the same place at the same time celebrating your special day.
Your wedding is also an expression of who you are, your style, interests and tastes so what better way to show you care about the environment then by making your wedding a little bit greener. Some will go all out, but for others it might just be a few things such as online RSVP or organic menu options.
