Ceremony: Wine Celler at the Cosmopolitan

We're catching up on getting some fresh posts up. It's been a busy summer so far!

This was a small, quaint wedding with a really fun couple. Chauntay & Chris are from Oklahoma but are in the process of moving to San Francisco to begin their new life. They have been to tons of weddings and decided that they didn't want to deal with coordinating a big wedding. They came to Telluride with just their immediate family and had an intimate ceremony. They then held a big reception back in Oklahoma for all of the rest of their family and friends. We made a slideshow for them to present during the reception with all of their wedding photos.

As with all Telluride weddings, there is a possibility of inclement weather. Most of the time, the storm come and go and those who are patient are rewarded with a gorgeous sunset or rainbows. Unfortunately, the weather didn't quite give us a break on this day and the rain continued to fall. Chauntay made the decision to have the ceremony inside at the Wine Celler of the Cosmopolitan. When the ceremony finished, we walked outside to bright sunshine and blue skies. Chauntay & Chris wanted to take advantage of the sun so we took the gondola up to the Top of Chair 7 and shot some portraits.

Chauntay & Chris had a wonderful, energetic attitude that didn't get dampened by the wet weather. They were just really excited to be able to get married in Telluride, no matter what the weather dealt them.

Here is a small sample of the shots.
